Biography
Having previously performed with Intocable, accordionist Albert Ramírez, Jr. united with ex-Jaime y los Chamacos singer/bassist Johnny Lee Rosas to establish the Mexican/regional-oriented band Masizzo. The ensemble made its debut in 1997 via La Otra Mitad, releasing 100% Masizzo the following year. After delivering M3, which contained the single hits "Solamente Mia" and "Ingrata Suerte," the group secured three nominations for the 20th Tejano Music Awards. Masisisimo appeared in 2000, with Algo Especial arriving in 2001.
