Biography
Born in Texas yet now based in Los Angeles, pop/rock singer/songwriter Matson Belle distinguishes herself from conventional vocalists. Outside her recordings, she advanced to finalist status on the reality program Survivor and landed a lead part in the motion picture Hangman once its director encountered her inside a café. Music nonetheless remains her central passion, reflected in multiple tracks placed on independent film soundtracks as well as a stage collaboration with Andy Summers of the Police. She further occupied the top ranking on SpinRecords.com for 26 consecutive weeks and was chosen as one of six singer/songwriters by AFTRA to appear in a music-industry showcase. Her arrangements layer harps, flutes, saxophones, and violins across groovy dance tracks.
