Biography
Formed by Emery's Matt Carter and Toby Morrell, the endeavor allows the two to pursue intricate acoustic and electronic textures distinct from their primary work. What began as discussions about an acoustic Emery album evolved differently, with the concept abandoned to let the tracks establish a separate character unburdened by audience expectations regarding the band. The pair launched their recording career in 2012 via a self-titled album released on Tooth & Nail that November. Their second album, I Quit Church, followed in 2017.
