Born in Rome on 2 October 1981, Italian actor and singer Matteo Branciamore enrolled at the Professione Cinema acting school between 1999 and 2001. During that period he began appearing in minor parts in feature films directed by Gabriele Muccino—Come Te Nessuno Mai (1999), L'Ultimo Bacio (2000) and Ricordati di Me (2003)—as well as in Maurizio Sciarra’s Alla Rivoluzione sulla Due Cavalli (2001) and assorted television projects. An encounter with director Ennio Coltorti opened the door to stage work, beginning with a 2002 theatrical version of Gustave Flaubert’s November.

Branciamore took a leading role in the popular sitcom I Cesaroni in 2006; its follow-up season reached screens in 2008. Tracks he cut for the series, among them the theme song “Adesso Che Ci Siete Voi,” formed the core of his debut album Parole Nuove, issued at the start of 2008.
