Biography
Hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area, Maxine Marcus crafts songs as a vocalist and composer in a style defined by introspective, ethereal pop that carries a subtle yet enduring rhythmic pulse suited for dancing. Having entered the world in 2000 with parents who were musicians themselves, her childhood involved exposure to live performances, mastery of both guitar and piano, and the creation of her initial original composition at the age of thirteen. This particular track, titled "Bitter to Breathe," found its way onto her inaugural extended-play release from 2015, titled On the Edge and helmed by producer Dan Shea.
