Biography
The formation of Mayfield occurred in Adelaide, Australia, during 2004. Its members had already participated in recordings and live shows alongside personnel connected to Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails, Veruca Salt, Unwritten Law, and Scott & Aimee. Zigg West (vocals, guitar), Sam Knight (drums, vocals), and Jett (bass) then traveled across Australia, the U.K., and Europe, issuing the self-titled EP Mayfield in April 2008 through Glorious Homeless Records.
