Adrian Saldaña, who records under the name MC Aese, creates and delivers smooth, sentimental pop-rap tracks shaped by R&B and trap aesthetics from his hometown of Guadalupe, Mexico. He entered the world in 1991, took up music-making in 2003, and issued his debut mixtape, Primeros Niveles, in 2010. After that release he cultivated a substantial social-media audience while performing across Mexico and sections of South America. Uploaded to YouTube in April 2012, the clip for his single “Dile Que,” which features Romo One, has accumulated more than 50 million views. After issuing a string of independent mixtapes, Aese joined the roster of Machete Music in 2015. His first two studio albums, Munchies and Por Amor Al Arte, Harté Al Amor, both arrived in 2016, with Mint following in 2017.
