Mc Fioti

In 2016 the Brazilian baile funk artist and producer MC Fioti achieved widespread attention through his socially attuned hit single “Vai Toma,” cut alongside fellow São Paulo native MC Pikachu. Known for sleek, luminous productions anchored by powerful bass, he issued a steady stream of recordings during the ensuing year alongside an assortment of partners such as MC Lan and the hip-hop duo Tribo da Periferia. His infectious 2017 track “Bum Bum Tam Tam” reached new heights once a remix expanded into a five-way collaboration featuring American artist Future, Colombian J Balvin, Brit Stefflon Don, and Spaniard Juan Magán, establishing it as his biggest single to date.
