A five-piece ensemble courted confusion from the start by choosing a name already claimed by the established Decca group Them. Within a single year the musicians issued three singles for Pye, none of which registered on the charts, and promptly vanished—even though their final effort proved a standout. Lead guitarist George Davies wrote that third release, “Show Me You Mean It Too,” which later appeared on a compact-disc compilation.
