Biography
Hailing from a Neapolitan household in which music held central importance, Maria di Donna—professionally known as Meg—took piano lessons in childhood. She launched her professional performing life in 1994 by joining the influential Italian collective 99 Posse, supplying vocals and co-writing material for one of the nation’s most politically outspoken groups. Even while pursuing numerous ancillary projects and guest appearances, she issued her first solo recording, the self-titled Meg, in 2004.
