Megan Tibbits

Megan Tibbits crafts reflective pop built around acoustic guitar as a singer and songwriter whose path through music stretches back across a lifetime of varied experience, eventually placing her in the national spotlight after she advanced to the Top 13 on ABC’s competition series Rising Star. Raised in Caro, Michigan, within both a musical household and a family gospel touring band, she spent more than a decade on the road with the ensemble, laying down harmony vocals as early as age six while also acquiring skills on piano, guitar, harp, saxophone, oboe, and songwriting. After completing a music education degree at Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, she moved to Los Angeles to focus on her solo work. The self-released EP When Life Is So appeared in 2011. Her national television exposure came in 2014 via Rising Star, followed the next summer by the release of her debut album, Until I Fly.
