Biography
In television's earliest days, Brooks launched his professional journey by crafting comedic material for Sid Caesar's Your Shows of Shows. An impromptu routine he shared with writing partner and performer Carl Reiner later supplied the core material for the popular 2000-Year-Old Man series of albums. Since then Brooks has earned recognition as the high priest of low comedy, achieving widespread success as a writer, director, and producer whose films have repeatedly drawn large audiences.
