A native of Dallas now based in San Diego, harpist and instructor Morgan first took up the instrument at age ten. Among her mentors was symphony harpist Julia Louise Herrmann. She delivered her debut recital at twelve and secured her initial professional booking two years afterward, performing for the Dallas Repertory Theater. Morgan’s earliest release, Gateways, appeared in 1980; two years after that came Heart and Erin’s Harp. Additional recordings include Invocation to Isis and Happenstance Dance. Beyond her concert schedule, studio work, and harp instruction, she has contributed to numerous film and television scores.
