Biography
Brendan Gregoriy, the Irish electronic musician best known for his techno and house productions as Chymera, records ambient material under the alias Merrin Karras. That project emphasizes warm melodies, Berlin-school pulsations, and an atmosphere tinged with suspense and loneliness. The alias made its first appearance in 2014 on John Beltran's Music for Machines compilation, issued by Delsin, with the track "The Veldt." An extended version of the piece later surfaced on Apex, Karras' debut album, which A Strangely Isolated Place released in 2016.
