Biography
Stockholm, Sweden serves as home base for Metalite, a contemporary melodic hard rock band whose soaring sound fuses power metal, metalcore, and electronicore while echoing the styles of Amaranthe, Epica, and Leaves' Eyes. Vocalist Emma Bensing, guitarist Edwin Premberg, guitarist Robert Örnesved, bassist Robert Majd, and drummer Les Larsson formed the group in 2015. They secured a recording contract with the Swedish label Inner Wound Recordings the following year. Early 2017 brought the single "Afterlife," which preceded the October arrival of the debut album Heroes in Time. Biomechanicals, the band’s second full-length release, appeared in late 2019.
