Biography
Having known one another since sixth grade, the musicians behind M. Headphone launched the project in 1996. Dod Andrew (vocals/guitar), Trevor Coen (bass/vocals), Dylan Connor (guitar/vocals), and Greg Thorne (drums) fused their contributions into a silly folk-pop aesthetic, refining it through shows across their San Francisco hometown before documenting the results on the 1998 album The Apex Barbeque. Their second album, Our Future Depends On It, followed two years later.
