Biography
Originating from southwestern Madagascar, Miary Lepiera works as an author in addition to his roles as singer and guitarist. His first trip to Europe came while touring alongside the Malagasy ensemble Njava, after which he chose to make Brussels his home. There he formed the band Sairy, drawing members from mainland Africa and Greece alike. The 1999 release Bitsibitsiho marked Lepiera’s debut, while Miary Lepiera & Sairy issued Soro three years later.
