Biography
Born in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1958, Michael Andersen works as a Danish guitarist, singer, and songwriter whose 2009 album Timeglasset reached the Top Ten. Commentators have labeled him a troubadour and drawn comparisons to John Mogensen. He spent many years leading the country-rock band Montana before beginning his solo career. Kick Music, an imprint tied to Sony Music, released Timeglasset, which climbed to number seven on the Danish albums chart.
