Michael Dean Damron reveals his fundamental identity as a singer and songwriter while fronting the boisterous indie rock outfit I Can Lick Any Sonofabitch in the House under the name Mike D. He sets his provocative style aside to deliver an emotive blend of country, blues, rock, and soul that centers on melody and sincerity. Produced by Fernando's Lewi Longmire, his debut album A Perfect Day for a Funeral reached listeners via the Portland-based imprint In Music We Trust in spring 2005.
