Biography
Growing up in a music-filled household on Chicago’s Southwest side, vocalist Michael Poss discovered his creative spark during college via appearances in neighborhood stage productions. Work singing advertising jingles, modeling, and performing in local dinner theater prompted his move to Los Angeles in 1985, where he immersed himself in the city’s nightclub world. Parts in daytime soaps and an NBC sitcom enabled him to self-finance the recording and release of the CD single Christmas in Chicago, which gained rotation on hometown radio. The pop album I Can Feel You in My Heart, built almost entirely from Poss’ original material, arrived in 1996, and in 2000 he issued Silver Screen Serenades, a collection of classic film love songs.
