Biography
Upon relocating from Manchester, England, to Canada in the mid-'60s, Michael Tarry MacDermott adopted a shortened version of his name. He cut the unsuccessful Columbia single "All that I Love" in 1969 before signing with WEA in 1973. The lone Canadian hit of his career arrived via "Rosalie," taken from his self-titled debut album.
