Mick Martin

Mick Martin has fronted the Blues Rockers from the early 1970s onward, establishing himself as a steadfast presence in the West Coast blues community. He launched the group after encountering late-1960s blues-rock fusion outfits such as the Rolling Stones, then remained anchored in the Sacramento region for many years. Steady album output gradually enhanced his standing, opening the door to joint performances with major figures like Grover Washington Jr. and Bo Diddley once word of his work circulated more widely. Entering the new century, he joined the Sacramento-based imprint Dig Music and delivered the all-covers album Tip of the Hat.
