Microwaves

Originating from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the experimental noise rock outfit Microwaves has maintained activity since 2000 with a core membership of David Kuzy on guitar, electronics, and vocals together with John Roman on drums, electronics, and vocals. Although bassists have rotated through the lineup across the years, the ensemble has preserved its focus on delivering unstructured music free of blues elements, as demonstrated across multiple releases that encompass the 2001 EP Professional Systems Overload, the 2002 LP System 2, the 2004 LP Attack Decay Sustain Release, and the 2006 LP Contagion Heuristic.
