Midnite City

Midnite City emerged in 2017 from Nottingham, England, under the direction of veteran frontman Rob Wylde, whose résumé already included Tigertailz, Vega, Steevi Jaimz, and Teenage Casket Company. The group’s energetic, melody-rich pop-metal style draws clear echoes of Danger Danger, Kiss, Bon Jovi, and Def Leppard. Its permanent roster eventually locked in with Wylde joined by Pete Newdeck on drums, Miles Meakin on guitar, Shawn Charvette on keyboards, and Josh “Tabbie” Williams on bass. After circulating a few early singles, the five-piece landed a contract with Germany’s AOR Heaven, which issued the band’s self-titled debut album in October 2017.
