Biography
Emerging from the remnants of Novasonic Down Hyper Space, whose two albums accompanied live performances alongside Stratford 4, Windy & Carl, Aspera, and Flowchart, the group adopted the name Midstates. After multiple changes in personnel, original participants Paul Heintz and Steve Munoz added bassist Adam Province along with drummer Dan Chambers, guitarist Michael Dahlman, and percussionist Angel Ledezma to their ranks. Early in 2003, this Chicago outfit issued Shadowing Ghosts via Mental Monkey.
