Biography
Having previously belonged to the Sneetches, singer/songwriter/guitarist Mike Levy produces unconventional pop shaped equally by that group’s aesthetic and by outside inspirations such as Harry Nilsson, the Korgis, and Al Green. Shortly after the Sneetches disbanded in 1995 he began developing his first solo album, Fireflies, which Bus Stop and Parasol Records jointly issued five years later with additional contributions from former bandmates Matt Carges, Daniel Swan, and Alec Palao.
