Million Yen

Originating from the vision of Chicago-area "studio geek" Andy Gerber, the four-piece ensemble launched its recording career in 1999 through the issuance of a 7" single that garnered extensive commendation for its power pop sensibilities. Numerous acts have featured the group as an opener, among them Gigolo Aunts, Goo Goo Dolls, and Cheap Trick. In 2001 the quartet revisited its personal facility, Million Yen, to lay down tracks for the debut album Blue Television Window. Live appearances by the ensemble persist across the Chicago region and at assorted industry events and conferences.
