Biography
An experimental indie rock outfit called Mind Brains is headquartered in Athens, Georgia. Its roster—Hannah Jones of the New Sound of Numbers, Eric Harris from Olivia Tremor Control, Kris Deason formerly of Dark Meat, Andy Gonzales who has appeared with both Marshmallow Coast and the Music Tapes, plus Emily Waldron—brings together résumés that cast the ensemble as something of a supergroup boasting numerous links to the Elephant 6 collective. Orange Twin Records issued the group’s self-titled debut album in January 2015.
