Biography

Guitarist Steven R. Smith assembled the instrumental neo-psych ensemble Mirza from the remaining members of his earlier project Ursa Minor. The San Francisco-based outfit made its first appearance in 1997 via Anadromous, issued as part of Darla Records' continuing Bliss Out series, with Iron Compass Flux arriving the subsequent year.
