Biography
Finnish metal outfit Misery Inc. came together in 2001 around the founding trio of guitarist Janne Tolonen, drummer Joonas Kauppinen, and bassist Jukka Keisala. Teemu Ylamaki stepped in on second guitar shortly afterward, and the group issued its first album, Yesterday's Grave, in 2003 fronted by vocalist Jukkis Huuhtanen. Subsequent personnel shifts followed, beginning with Keisala's exit in 2005 and the arrival of Jules Naveri and Niko Mankinen to share vocal duties. The band delivered its sophomore effort, Random End, the next year. Another departure occurred in 2007 when Naveri stepped away for personal reasons, yet Misery Inc. pressed forward with third-album sessions and installed Tommi Niemi as the new singer. That autumn the group unveiled its next full-length, Breedgreedbreed, after which Niemi also exited the lineup.
