Biography
Miss Conduct traces its roots to 2001 under the earlier moniker Then Came Bronson. That lineup tracked demo recordings intended for EP releases across 2001 and 2002, the latter project titled Wanna Be Never Be, yet the group lost bassist and singer Chris shortly after securing a lone single in 2003. By 2006 the arrival of vocalist Kim and bassist Dai prompted a full re-branding that established the Miss Conduct name. The refreshed ensemble signed with the independent Visible Noise imprint and issued the mini-album Sinner Vs. Sinned the following year. Throughout spring 2007 the band maintained an active touring schedule while also taping a BBC Radio One session. Later that same year Kim departed, leaving guitarists Gav and Shiner, bassist Benji, and drummer Ronnie to continue; they ultimately filled the vocal role with Emma Jane. The revised lineup then turned its focus toward additional live dates and studio work.
