Biography
Mocket formed as a punk-futurist project rooted in Olympia, Washington, with its original lineup consisting of singers and multi-instrumentalists Audrey Marrs and Matt Steinke. The group issued its debut release, Bionic Parts, in 1996. Drummer Carolyn Rue, formerly of Hole, came aboard ahead of the sessions for the band’s sophomore album, Fanfare, which appeared the following year.
