Biography
Formed in 2013, Chicago-based indie garage pop quintet Modern Vices built a sound around noisy guitar-led attack that weaves in surf, garage, lo-fi indie, and the style the band itself labels dirty doo wop. Frontman Alex Rebek fronts the lineup alongside guitarists Peter Scoville and Thomas Peters, bassist Miles Kalchik, and drummer Patrick Hennessey. Autumn Tone Records, the Chicago indie label, signed the group in 2014 and issued their self-titled debut LP that October.
