Molly's Yes, the modern rock outfit from Tulsa, Oklahoma, assembled in late 1996 by pulling together musicians from several preexisting local acts. Frontman Ed Goggin had previously served in Stephen Hero, guitarist Mac Ross arrived as an alumnus of the Groove Pilots, and bassist Brad Mitcho joined drummer Scott Taylor after the pair had worked together in Glass House. The band initially operated under the name Blink, switched to Pop Secret in the fall of 1997, and locked in Molly's Yes by the start of 1999. Their first album, Paper Judas, surfaced shortly afterward; once the group secured a deal with Universal later that year, the same record was reissued with the revised title Wonderworld.
