Biography
Hailing from Chicago, Monique Miller first gained experience as a vocalist on the road with pianist Andy Milne. She later stepped out independently to cut her self-titled debut album for Orpheus Music. The record, steeped in the neo-soul approach popularized by Erykah Badu and Jill Scott, appeared in the spring of 2002.
