Biography
Music entered Mono Fontana's world during adolescence through the formation of his debut ensemble, Madre Atómica, in which he performed together with Pedro Aznar. The year 1977 brought a follow-up undertaking titled Los Desconocidos de Siempre. Subsequent opportunities arising from his instrumental proficiency placed him in leading Argentinean rock groups headed by established figures including Luis Alberto Spinetta and Fito Paez. A 1986 reunion of the original lineup produced the release Madre Atómica. Mono Fontana completed his initial solo album, Ciruelo, in 1998.
