Moods For Moderns

Genre: Alt / Indie, Indie Rock
Origin: U.S.A
Detroit's power pop and indie rock trio Moods for Moderns consists of vocalist and guitarist Nathan Beale, bassist Ben Force—who also plays with King for a Day—and drummer Dave Shettler, who is likewise a member of Koufax. The group came together in 1998 and issued its first EP, Two Tracks Left, on Doghouse Records in 2000. Spring 2001 brought the full-length Loud & Clear, produced by Jim Diamond, which further developed the band's fusion of mod, bubblegum, and garage rock elements.
