Mook Boy has carved out a notable presence in Florida’s underground scene by recounting street-hustling narratives over a polished delivery. Since emerging in the early 2010s, the self-reliant rapper has run his own Fly Goon Music Group imprint, often shortened to FGMG. His initial Billboard recognition arrived late in the decade via King Titus III, the first project of his to appear on the publication’s charts.

He laid the foundation of an extensive catalog with the 2012 album King Titus. A follow-up arrived the next year, yet 2014 proved especially productive, yielding no fewer than four projects. Broader exposure came in 2016 when the track “Juvy,” taken from the mixtape Tinted Windows & Testimonies, was accompanied by a video that included Bhad Bhabie. Steady commercial progress followed with the 2017 albums Mookaveli and Helicopter Handwriting; the former featured guest verses from Plies, Maino, and Quavo—his most prominent collaborations up to that time. The third installment in the King Titus series surfaced in 2019, debuting at number 18 on Billboard’s Independent Albums chart while also registering on the Heatseekers tally and additional sales-driven genre lists.
