Biography
In 2001 the retro-rock outfit Moonlight Towers assembled in Austin, Texas, with singer and rhythm guitarist James Stevens, bassist Jason Daniels, and drummer Richard Galloway, who also handled backup vocals. Spinster Records issued the band’s self-titled debut in 2002, after which lead guitarist Jacob Schulze came aboard. Produced by Mike Napolitano at Piety Street Studio in New Orleans, the follow-up album Like You Were Never There appeared first on August 23, 2005, in local markets and then nationwide on November 1, 2005, while the group launched an extensive tour.
