Twin sisters Debbie and Carrie Moore grew up in Belton, MO, and first recognized their musical path during the senior-class song at their high-school graduation. Club dates across North America eventually drew the pair to Nashville, where their debut single, 1991's "Out With the Cold," scored enough success to open doors for later releases such as "Steal Me a Heart," "Don't Come Knocking," "Break Down the Walls," and "I Surrender." Throughout the '90s the duo earned repeated country-music-award nominations, performed at the Grand Ole Opry in 1995, and joined the Bellamy Brothers and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band on a European tour in 1997. Debbie Moore also co-wrote the Mark Wills hit "Wish You Were Here," which reached the top of the Billboard, R&R, and Gavin charts in 1999. To date the sisters have released two albums, Master of My Own Destiny in 1996 and Million Roses in 2001.
