Morgoth

Morgoth formed as a German heavy metal five-piece that includes frontman Marc Grewe alongside guitarists Carsten Otterbach and Harald Busse, bassist Sebastian Swart, and drummer Rudiger Hennecke. The group first surfaced through two EPs titled The Eternal Fall and Resurrection Absurd; both were later combined for a double release in 1991, the identical year that saw the arrival of the band’s debut full-length effort, Cursed. Following the 1993 successor Odium, the musicians entered an extended break during which Grewe lent his voice to recordings by Power of Expression and Comecon. The outfit resurfaced in 1996, enlisting producer Dirk Draeger for the album Feel Sorry for the Fanatic.
