Biography
Hailing from Glasgow, Mount Florida operates as a duo that merges eclectic and minimalist approaches to techno and funk, with Twich and M.P. Lancaster serving as its DJs and programmers. Their introduction came via the four-song Stealth EP in 1999, after which the “Storm” and “Strut” singles appeared in 2000. Matador issued the pair’s first full-length effort, Arrived Phoenix, toward the end of that same year.
