Biography
In 1993 John Forbes, previously the vocalist and guitarist of Dirt, launched Mount Shasta with bassist Jenny White, guitarist Al Johnson, and drummer Jason Benson. That same year the oppressive indie hard-rock outfit issued a lone single, after which the Nodule EP surfaced on Skin Graft Records. Their first full-length album, 1995’s Who’s the Hottie, was followed three years later by the sophomore release Watch Out.
