Biography
Los Angeles-based Movement Ex managed to issue just a single potent LP steeped in Five Percent Nation themes. Recorded during the members’ teenage years and issued by Columbia in 1990, the self-titled effort made little headway within hip-hop circles yet stood alongside the era’s other strident, politically driven releases by Paris, X-Clan, and Lakim Shabazz. The pair comprised MC Lord Mustafa Hasan Ma'd and DJ King Born Khaaliq. They reportedly went separate ways soon afterward.
