Mower fuse alternative metal with punk rock echoes and other aggressive stylistic traits to produce a singularly forceful brand of heavy rock propelled by an explosive guitar attack and relentless percussive drive. Formed as a quintet in San Diego, California, during 1995, the group unites vocalists Brian Sheerin and Dominic Moscatello with guitarist Greg Goodwin, bassist Chris McCredie, and drummer Mike Owen. From the outset the band cultivated a broad yet loyal following through their combustible renditions of rock & roll’s sharpest strains. They appeared on the 1999 Vans Warped Tour and served as support for System of a Down, Zebrahead, and Sprung Monkey. Toward the end of 2000 the ensemble tracked their dense sonic approach across a three-song demo.
