Biography
British DJs Tim Punter and Neil Dunford, active in the local club circuit since the mid-'80s, launched the Mucho Macho project whose name derived from the Beastie Boys video "Sabotage." Their first single, "She Devils," appeared soon afterward, succeeded by the track "Eric B Is on a Cat." The duo recorded their debut album, The Limehouse Link, in 1998. The following year the experimental duet relocated to the United States to attend the Miami Dance Conference, where they performed alongside Gus Gus at a leading South Beach venue. Their second album, Death at Wild Onion Drive, arrived in June 2000.
