Biography
Murder Squad formed as an occasional collaboration between Entombed’s guitarist Uffe Cederlund and drummer Peter Stjärvind together with Dismember’s Matti Kärki on vocals and Richard Cabeza on bass. The quartet revived the raw, early-’90s death-metal approach through their own material. After roughly ten years of sporadic weekend rehearsals fitted around tours with their primary bands, the four musicians finally captured their abrasive grindcore eruptions on the 2001 album Unsane, Insane and Mentally Deranged.
