Biography
Naked Music NYC functioned as a shifting roster of musicians under the direction of songwriter Jay Denes, situating the project inside the emerging “New Soul” movement that also featured Erykah Badu, Maxwell, and D’Angelo. The ensemble issued its first album, What’s on Your Mind?, in the middle of 1998.
