Necklace

Danish vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and beatmaker Niklas Grool, who records under the alias Necklace, concentrates on warmhearted pop shaped by present-day R&B. Before attempting lead vocals, the Copenhagen resident served as producer and band member in several groups, most prominently Waldo & Marsha. After discovering his singing voice, Grool launched his solo recording career in 2017 by issuing the singles “Try This” and “Between (Me & You).” The following year saw the arrival of his third single, “Easy.” A partnership with major-label Atlantic handled the release of all three tracks. While advancing his own career, Grool kept collaborating with fellow acts, among them Gnucci, whose track “You Good I’m Good Let’s Be Great” credits him as co-writer and co-producer.
