Biography
Emerging from East Northport, New York in the early 1990s, the aptly named Negative Reaction has extended Southern-styled sludge and doom metal's murky shadow across the Gotham skyline. The project was founded and has remained under the direction of vocalist/guitarist Ken E. Bones, who has maintained a regularly changing rhythm section through the years, among them bassist O.D. and drummer John McDonald in the early 2000s. In addition to several 7" singles and EPs, the band has released four albums: 1996's Endofyorerror, 2000's The Orion Chronicles, 2003's Everything You Need for Galactic Battle Adventures, and 2006's Under the Ancient Penalty.
